Had the opportunity to experience Lizzie Keays when we were in Lake George for a family reunion. We were a large group (14) and had a wonderful meal. Service was excellent, the staff was very attentive. The restaurant was recently remodeled and is beautiful inside. The food was fantastic. Orders ranged from salmon to ravioli to burgers. Each one was delicious! Highly recommended!

Chef Billy and his staff are all awesome folks. Super friendly and inviting. I had a truly lovely experience dining at Lizzie Keays. We were met with smiles, the atmosphere is classy and beautiful, the food was delicious. I can’t wait to come back and sit out on the terrace. So peaceful. Thanks for a great experience!

After having dined here several times in the past year, it is time for a review. Nice atmosphere in their newly remodeled dining room, friendly servers, and an owner/chef who puts his personal touch on every item. The food has been awesome every time. Portion sizes are adequate, very high quality with great presentation.

Amazing restaurant. The entrees were excellent...burgers to pasta to chicken parmigiana! Salads were fantastic as well: Spinach as well as the Up North salad. The service couldn't have been better. Emma and Bri took wonderful care of our very large (12) party. Having the chef/owner come out to greet us

Absolutely must try! Started with a couple drinks (the moonshine mule is delicious) and the Shrimp Cocktail. The Thai chili was a nice addition to an otherwise standard cocktail sauce. The Diver Scallops entree is wonderful, full of flavor. But the star of the show is the Dijon Walnut Crusted Salmon. Easily the best salmon I have ever had. The walnut crust added amazing texture and that bourbon glaze!!! Chefs kiss! Topped off the night with the creme brulee donut. Apparently a fan favorite and I can see why. If you’re a creme brulee fan, try it, you won’t be disappointed. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. The bar tender Nick is delightful. Our server Corbin is super sweet. The chef and owner Bill is super friendly and came out and spoke to us quite a few times. It was so good that we’re coming back in a couple days for live music and dinner. Even bringing the family as we found out they also have a kids menu. Win win! You MUST try. Worth the very SHORT drive from neighboring resort towns like Boltons Landing, Lake George and the surrounding areas.

Five of us went this evening celebrating my wife’s birthday. The food was excellent as was the service. Billy, the owner/chef is a great host. Can’t say enough about the place. We love taking new friends and visiting family there. Never disappointed always great!!

Had an amazing dinner tonight. Food was spectacular! Atmosphere was great! All of the staff we interacted with were super friendly. Well worth the 45 minute drive for us, and we will absolutely be back! Couldn’t get a photo of the Brie appetizer before my 18 year old dug into it!

My wife and I decided to try this place out because it had one of the best Yelp reviews in the area. The moment you enter the dining room you can tell the experience is going to be exceptional. The decor combines elegance and a rustic charm that is very inviting. The wait staff continue the vibe by being friendly and knowledgeable, especially our waiter Nick. The cocktails we started with were the Summer Rum Punch and the Strawberry Margarita. Each was perfectly balanced and delicious. We were served fresh baked bread with butter that I believe contained chive and maybe orange zest. It was a wonderful start to our meal. We were given a watermelon sorbet palate cleanser before the entree that was an incredible experience. The entrees we decided on were the Pork Ribeye and the Jumbo Shrimp. The details of each dish on their menu made it difficult to decide, they all sounded incredible. The Pork Ribeye was fork tender and possibly the best pork dish I’ve ever had the pleasure to be served. It came with perfectly seasoned mashed potatoes and corn. I took each bite slowly to savor the dish as long as I could. I didn’t want to take a sip of my drink because I didn’t want to lose the flavor of the entree! The generous portion of Jumbo Shrimp was served with spaghetti in a sherry butter sauce, butternut squash, feta, and peas. My wife described it as dance of wonderful flavors and worth savoring. The owner of the restaurant, Billy Trudsoe, a chef graduate of SUNY and a competitor in season 21 of Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen, came to our table to greet us, take a picture with us, and even brought us our dessert! Our dessert was a Black Cherry Chocolate Tart that was an amazing end to an incredibly delectable meal. I chose to accompany the dessert with a Heaven’s Door Ascension Bourbon on the rocks, while my wife had a second Strawberry Margarita. After dessert, I took a walk around the restaurant to further explore their outdoor dining area and their additional dining room. Both were beautiful, clean, well decorated, and welcoming. My wife and I felt truly blessed to have this experience, and we consider it the best dining experience we’ve ever had in the Adirondacks.
